Democratic Candidate – Lieutenant Governors race

Kristin enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school. During her twelve years of service, she worked for two years at the Pentagon for General Colin Powell when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Afterward, Kristin was commissioned and served as a Signal Officer platoon leader in an Infantry Division before being honorably discharged.
Professionally, Kristin has worked at Micron and Hewlett-Packard and is currently a Software Engineering Manager for Xylem (“Let’s Solve Water”), where her team writes Smart Grid monitor and control software for utility companies. She has earned five professional certifications, which provided an arsenal of tools that she employs to lead her teams.
