We Endorse Janice McGeachin for Lieutenant Governor
We believe Janice is the right choice to bring conservative principles to back-up Governor Labrador but whatever the outcome having a strong conservative in this position is crucial. Janice will bring the right blend of business and political experience to the job.
Conservatives should vote for Janice McGeachin
This was a difficult pick between Bob Nonini and Janice McGeachin. Both have great voting records, experience, and conservative credentials. What tipped the scales was the endorsement of Brad Little by Bob Nonini and Bob’s drifting away from the conservative camp.
A no for Bob Nonini
Marv Hagedorn is a status quo establishment vote with the record to prove it. He’s not the right person for a new governor.
A strong No for Marv Hagedorn
Kelly Packer is absolutely the wrong person for this and any position. Like Christy Perry, she needs to switch parties consistent with votes for planned parenthood, big government, and more regulations. All of which spells too liberal.
We urge a strong no for Kelly Packer
Steve Yates is in search to be somebody. We find his raising large amounts of out of state money primarily from Chinese nationals puzzling and troubling. Maybe they are a couple of hundred of his closest friends, but if not, what is it? It could be innocent money bundling or an investment.
Beyond that, as party chair, he was known to run over the top of conservatives given the chance. Some conservatives would argue he was a great friend while other conservatives would say that he was not their friend. Why the difference? Electing an unknown is never wise. With no elective experience or record, we recommend you start with a legislative seat and show us who you really are.
No, for now, Steve Yates.
