As a Congressman, Raúl has been a tireless champion of a small, yet efficient and effective government. Raúl is a true conservative – he’s strongly pro-life and a consistent defender of the Second Amendment.
Raúl is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and continues to volunteer his time with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs and did missionary work in Santiago, Chile.
Congressman Raúl Labrador is serving his fourth term representing the 1st Congressional District, which stretches from Nevada to Canada on Idaho’s western side. Prior to his service in Washington DC, he opened a law practice that included immigration and criminal defense, and he served two terms in the Idaho House of Representatives.
