“If all printers were determined not to print anything till they were sure it would offend nobody, there would be very little printed.”
– Benjamin Franklin
Last April, we released the first edition of The Idahoan and while the paper did raise a few eyebrows, the vast majority of comments we received were favorable and encouraged us to continue to publish. Since the state primaries in May, The Idahoan has been officially recognized by the Idaho Attorney Generals office as a newspaper, thereby protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This acknowledgement guarantees us, as well as you, our readers, the right to articulate opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or sanction. We continue to believe that this was the intent of the Founding Fathers, and The Idahoan will continue to stand for and by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights forever. Period.
We offer this E-Edition newspaper as a source of information, and are proud to continue the tradition of being the conservative source of information on all state and Legislative candidates, throughout this great state.
For those of you wondering why there was is no paper edition this cycle, there simply was insufficient advertisement revenue to go to print. However, we certainly hope to do so again in the future, covering Legislative session agenda’s, statewide elections, propositions, as well as the upcoming 2020 election cycle.
